Costume Fail

Last weekend we were invited to a Halloween costume party at a friends house. Ali and I wanted to do a lil duo costume together since Ammo was going to be Harry Potter and <ichael was going to be James Potter. We waited up until a few hours before the party to decide what we wanted to be. We tossed around ideas like Pulp Fiction, Wayne's World, Practical Magical, and Dumb and Dumber. We couldn't find the correct wigs or costumes to make any of those work so we went to Pinterest for inspiration. I came across this version of the Joker. I thought "Wow these girls look cute, we can do this easily." Well it was not as easily as it seemed. We definitely did not have the correct hair paint, or costume grade makeup. Our face paint kept melting off or cracking. We were just laughing hysterically in the mirror as we put on the last of our red lip just 5 minutes before we were supposed to be at the party. I'd love to try this look again for Halloween, just with proper tools and just a tad more time.
